Designers are trained to study and understand people. The opportunity for developing this project came from the observation that students in a public university couldn’t benefit from the precarious existing facilities. For the design students who desperately needed to use a light table, this project came to be an economically efficient and innovative solution: a PORTABLE A3 format light table. Bamboo Chair & Old Tires use

This is a 1-week project designed to solve the problem of disposed tires, one of the most harmful products to the environment. The industrial tires were combined with some of nature’s elements like bamboo - one of the most versatile woods. The bamboo was chemically treated to extend its life span and the tires were cut into stripes, taking care to prevent hazardous edges. Product designers: Henrique Corrêa, Celina Cabral and Igor Saraiva.

This Interior Design project took 7 days from ideation to implementation. The campaign is from the University’s in-house agency and was entitled “Constructing your Career”. In a record time, this shop had to be converted into a construction yard. For the surprise of the client’s staff and the University agency, people passing-by would enter the store and say that they were really interested in enrolling, but that they would return once the store was finished. It was the “compliment” to our Mission Accomplished!
